How to fill it in

  2. Add the customer and the address. Fill in your business, the customer and the service address; add the work order number if you use one.
  3. List the call-out, labor and parts. Charge the service call, labor as hours times your rate, and each part or fixture on its own line.
  4. Add tax and warranty, then send. Add sales tax, note the warranty on parts and labor, and send or hand over the invoice before you leave.

Tips

  • Name the parts. “40-gallon gas water heater” beats “parts” when a customer files a warranty claim.
